We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer Intern to join our Training and Development team. The intern has to be currently enrolled in a degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, or a related field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and effective learning experiences for our employees and customers. This role requires an understanding of instructional design principles, multimedia integration, and the ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Needs Analysis:
Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify learning gaps and training requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to define learning objectives and outcomes.Curriculum Development:
Design and develop comprehensive training programs that align with Fluke’s strategic goals. Create detailed instructional materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and job aids.Content Creation:
Develop engaging multimedia content using text, graphics, audio, and video. Incorporate interactive elements such as quizzes, simulations, and games to enhance learning.Technology Utilization:
Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deliver and track training programs. Employ authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia to create high-quality e-learning content.Assessment and Evaluation:
Design and implement formative and summative assessments to measure learning effectiveness. Analyze feedback and performance data to continuously improve instructional materials.Project Management:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in training initiatives.Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in instructional design and educational technology. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Please note that you need to be enrolled in university for the duration of this internship. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design or a related role. Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia). Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
