We are seeking a talented individual to join our Wealth Korean team at Mercer. This role will be based in Hong Kong. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
Assist in delivering investment and retirement advisory services for Korea institutional investors and corporate clientsConduct research of business service offerings/ products and market trends, as well as analytical and reporting duties, under guidance of experienced associates.Support client projects (retirement and investment) and delivery processes including business development, project delivery, documentation and reporting.Assist with translation and provide support to senior Korean colleagues in project delivery while handling Korean language requirements.Perform actuarial valuation in accordance with IAS19 and USGAAP, as well as involve in investment monitoring process for pension plansWhat you need to have?
Undergraduate in Economics, Finance/ Actuarial Science, Engineering, Mathematics and any other numerate degrees.Strong self-initiative and curiosity in financial services, self-motivated to seek out knowledge, test ideas and ways to contribute to the team.Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with team members.Motivated to deliver good quality work and high learning agility. Strong personal management to be able to handle variety of tasks, with diverse objectives and team members.Good capabilities of Microsoft Office suite. Strong Excel skills, basic VBA will be a plus.Fluency in Korean and English; Cantonese and/ or Mandarin will be a plus.What makes you stand out?
