Micron Technology’s MBU Mobile Systems Architecture Group is focused on power and performance of memory devices in the Mobile System-on-Chips (SoCs) , enabling Micron memory parts stay ahead of competition in both power and performance

Working as an engineer in the MBU Systems Architecture Group, you will be part of a team working on next gen Memory & Storage solutions, establishing the competitive advantage of the Micron parts or identifying the areas of improvement to stay ahead of competition, you will contribute to the development of new architectures and products using Micron’s next generation Memory/Storage solutions for Micron’s Mobile Customers.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Understand way in which memory and storage are used on mobile platforms, by analyzing next-gen AI workloadsAnalyze power and performance of memory and storage components across different workloadsIdentify new mobile workloads that will define memory/storage usage in future productsImpact next gen memory and storage designs for better power and performanceEvaluate and present architecture trade-offs impacting memory/storage subsystem performance and power

Qualifications:

Bachelors/Master’s degree in Electronics and/or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related fieldExperience with Power and Performance AnalysisExcellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to collaboratively work with many varied teamsUnderstanding of Mobile SOC system and Android systemUnderstanding and experience on system Benchmarking and multimedia applicationsHands-on experience in using industry standard Benchmarking toolsProven ability to work in a dynamic, multi-tasked environment

Education Requirements:

Bachelors/Master’s degree in Electronics and/or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related field

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$36.16 - $46.16

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
