We are seeking are seeking a summer intern in our East Granby, CT facility. The Mechanical Engineer Intern will provide mechanical and/or controls engineering support for daily production tasks, including assisting manufacturing and development operations. The successful individual will be able to balance a wide variety of responsibilities that includes hands-on and analytical work. Responsibilities would include:
Support daily troubleshooting activities Work with engineering and process team to support mechanical design work for key projects Work with equipment engineering team to conduct preventative maintenance and support activities such as spare parts organization Apply mechanical, electrical and/or controls related skill sets to support business initiativesEducation/Requirements:
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering or other related degree. 100% on-site access Hands-on experience operating equipment and tools Proficiency with standard desktop software (Outlook, Word, Excel) Excellent communication skills. Self-motivated, driven personality Must work well in teamsSafety Requirements
