Job Summary
Assist engineers in investigation, design, and verification of a product in valve, pump, spray, fluid jetting systems, plasma treatment, and related automation.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Instrument and analyze electromechanical and fluid mechanisms to quantify performanceCreate SolidWorks models and drawingsDesign tests and experiments to direct design choicesDiscover and mitigate design risks through FMEA’s and design reviewsPerform other work-related duties as assigned.Education and Experience Requirements
Education:
Junior or Senior engineering student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic EngineeringExperience:
SolidWorks modeling and drafting experienceMicrosoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookPreferred Skills and Abilities
Statics, Dynamics, Electrical circuitsPrototype part fabrication and/or assembly experienceExperienced with laboratory instruments – oscilloscopes, pressure transducers, RTD’sBasic software skills may include Python, C++, JavaWorking Conditions and Physical Demands
100% on site (no remote) Mix of office and laboratory environment with requirements to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for handling of chemicals, working with high power electronics, and automated mechanical systems.
