Exciting opportunity to be part of the Labcorp 2025 Global Internship Program as a Intern- Metabolism Formulations Development in Madison, WI!

About the Metabolism Team:

The Metabolism group has a critical role within the drug development pipeline. Our research allows for the ability to better predict pharmacokinetic (PK) and drug-drug interactions (DDIs) with DMPK/ADME studies and computational modeling experimental compounds, prior to clinical trials, to move quickly from discovery to development.

Internship Assignment Summary:

Utilize a chemistry background to perform formulation work that provides additional data needed to expand our capabilities and offering to clients.

The project will be centered around research, to better understand the solubility of compounds with administration of the compound in the forefront.

Perform formulations utilizing basic and advanced laboratory equipment.

Scientifically interpret data sets and provide scientifically based recommendations toward successful product and formulation development

Summarize data, write reports, and be able to present in front of other team members

Education/Qualifications/Skills: 

Working towards or has completed at least a Bachelor’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a Related Technical Field

Has experience working in a laboratory; wet chemistry lab experience preferred

Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues

Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership
