As a Design Engineer Intern at Micron, you will be joining the Analog Core Functional Team as a technical individual contributor accelerating the design of the analog core subsystem of our NAND outstanding products. In this role, you will be exposed to some of our analog core IPs (DC-DC switched capacitor converter designs, linear low voltage (LDOs) and high voltage regulators, bandgap voltage generators and DACs, various types of oscillators) design and validation, with a particular focus on identifying novel ways to automate and accelerate part of the design cycles. You will be challenged to combine Electrical Engineering and Computer Science domains by developing tools that help generate schematic or layout floorplan and routing from text, analyze NAND trims for classification and database querying or even synthesize algorithm waveforms using machine learning methods.
Minimum Qualifications:
A high level of self-motivation.Solid foundations in Python programming.Proven foundations for analog, digital and mixed signal circuit design (op amps, DACs, ADCs, linear regulators, oscillators, bandgaps) supported by semiconductor and device physics.Strong foundations for layout planning including matching requirements, LVS/DRC tools is a plus.Plus: basic knowledge of standard industry simulators (VCS, hspice, spectre ..)Plus: basic Cadence and LVS/DRC tools knowledge.Strong circuit debugging and problem-solving skills.Good communication and collaboration skills.Education/Experience requirements:You are actively pursuing a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, or pursuing bachelors with prior years of experienceGraduation date cannot be prior to September 2025Having design experience of 1- 3 years is desirableThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
