Intern - PCVD Process Engineer

The Process Engineer in Manufacturing Development supports fabrication processing on the front line of innovation at the world’s leading memory and storage solution provider! This team is primarily responsible for improving process quality, working on yield and efficiency improvements, cost reduction, as well as resolving manufacturing line problems.

Responsibilities:Maintain safety training and act in accordance with safety and environmental sustainability guidelinesResolve yield, quality, defect and equipment related issuesApply SPC, FDC, and 8D methodology to identify, diagnose and resolve process issuesAnalyze data using various application and engineering knowledge to make critical process decisionsProvide troubleshooting support for complex process issuesCoordinate and lead meetings; track action items and provide resources for timely closure of actionsPerform project work to optimize wafer processingMinimum Qualifications:Required: MS or BS in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or semiconductor experience; however, other engineering or related fields may be consideredInterest in advanced technology and a tenacious desire to learnExceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent ability to prioritize and run numerous tasks at a timeEfficiently utilize available resources and seek peers’ and/or management help to eliminate roadblocks and work towards solutionsStrong communication and coordinating abilities to work across various functional teamsOutstanding people skills with ability to work efficiently across multiple teams and partnersFlexible with job responsibilities and shift assignmentsPreferred Qualifications:In-depth understanding and working knowledge of SPC and Design of ExperimentsAbility to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and react to shifting priorities to meet business needsProficient in one or more scripting, programming and visualization tools: Python, Java, Tableau, Matlab, Microsoft SuiteAdvanced problem-solver – understanding of data, good data intuition and data visualization skillsExperience or knowledge of data collection, warehousing systems, and data cleansingHands-on experience in the field of data analytics, preferably with experience querying databases
