Reporting to the Manager of Software Engineering , the software engineering intern is responsible for wearing multiple hats from viewing the architectural approach with a critical eye, making implementation decisions, and proactively communicating this with the team.

Lead and design and development of AI-Teaching Assistant Bots to chat with lecture videos leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) using Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).Implement Text-to-Speech and enabled voice responses in 10+ accents to improve accessibility for users with hearing disabilities.Designs, implements, and maintains tools and processes for the continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of software. Will work with developers, testers, and system administrators to ensure the entire software development life cycle is efficient, smooth, and error-free.

This is a full-time, Hybrid, 3-month internship, targeting a start date of Summer 2025. Intern must be able to be on-site in Santa Clara Ca or Chandler AZ weekly.

Qualifications

What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):

Must be pursuing a BS degree in computer science or related STEM technical field.1+ years experience developing tools, libraries, and infrastructure for data preprocessing, model training/finetuning, and deployment of LLMs.

Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years experience developing tools, libraries, and infrastructure for data preprocessing, model training/finetuning, and deployment of LLMs in research and production environments.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $40,000.00-$108,000.00 (Hourly Role)
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model
