Intern Facade Engineer

We are looking for an Intern Engineer to join our Facade team at Arup Italia in Milan. You will work within an international team, supporting colleagues across Europe. As an Intern Facade Engineer at Arup, you will be responsible for:

Assisting the Facade team in medium to large-scale projects and competitions. Supporting the team in facade research projects. Preparing and developing drawings, models, images, slideshows, reports, and other documents related to design and research project deliverables.

Skills to be acquired:

Strong design and creativity skills. Precision in meeting deadlines for simple tasks and requests from supervisors. Eagerness for self-development and learning. Enthusiasm for collaboration. Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues. Understanding and acceptance of Arup’s key founding principles and values.

 

Technical skills and personal attributes:

Degree in civil engineering, building engineering, or building engineering and architecture. Interest in working in a multidisciplinary environment. Drive to seek creative and innovative solutions. High level of self-motivation. Receptiveness and support for change. Active listening and understanding.
