ResponsibilitiesJoin our dynamic team as a Civil Engineering Intern and gain hands-on experience working on impactful municipal civil engineering projects. This internship offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with experienced engineers and contribute to the planning, designing, and executing projects focused on site development, utilities, and transportation systems. Build your technical expertise while developing connections with your team and other professionals in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Collaborate with our experienced engineers to assist in the planning, designing, and executing municipal civil engineering projects, including site development, utility work, and transportation improvements.Review construction material submittals and test results for conformance to project specifications and details.Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify engineering drawings, schematics, and plans.Participate in site visits and inspections, assisting in construction monitoring and preparing observation reports.Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to ongoing projects. Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Strong academic record in engineering coursework.Proficiency in AutoCAD, WaterGEMS, ArcGIS, or similar software is a plus.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Enthusiasm for learning and a strong work ethic.Knowledge or interest in water supply and transmission systems, sanitary sewer design, stormwater drainage systems, or roadway reconstruction is desirable.

This internship is designed to provide an in-person experience, offering valuable opportunities to build connections with your team, fellow interns, and other professionals. Interns are expected to work on-site each day for the duration of the program. Please note that relocation or housing assistance will not be provided for this internship.
