As an Advanced Modeling Intern at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be working in the Technology and Products (TPG) group! This position is in Boise, ID, where you will work in a multi-functional team of engineers highly experienced in advanced modeling of materials, process, structure, mechanics, and reactors. **Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:** Working on a modeling project that involves testing of new methods to perform large scale structural and mechanics simulations. You will report results to the team of modeling engineers and collaborate with them on the next steps. This position seeks individuals that can implement and test new algorithms! **Qualifications:** + Independence – be comfortable executing activities and needs + Good written and verbal communication + Outstanding teamwork + Experience with Finite elements, level sets, and CAD + Familiar with meshing techniques and numerical solvers + Advanced skills in ML/DL/AI techniques + Experience with Bash, Python, C++ Previous software development and Linux experience + Strong debug and problem-solving skills + Experience in writing reports and/or conference papers + Ability to work in a team environment and experience with remote collaboration tools + Familiarity with semiconductor processes is encouraged **Education Requirements:** + Pursuing Ph.D. in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Sciences or Mathematics.
