Intern - Transit & Railway Engineering
What You Will Do:

During your internship, you will work on a highly functioning team and aid in providing design services for a wide variety of projects. You'll receive guidance, supervision and mentorship by experienced engineers and professionals with your success as the goal. The majority of our interns convert to full-time employees. 

 

What You'll Be Working On

Collaborate on real-world railway and transit projects, assisting in design and development.Support engineers in understanding project requirements and proposing innovative solutions.Perform engineering calculations for railway and transit system design and analysis.Assist in designing railway system layouts and coordinating with multiple disciplines.Participate in field surveys and contribute to project documentation, including technical drawings and reports.Education | Experience:

Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program, pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation.Demonstrated interest in transit and railway engineering through prior internship or applied coursework experience.Proficient in data analysis and possess strong problem-solving skills.Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bentley Rail Track. Familiarity with railway and transit engineering principles and practices.Basic knowledge of railway system design and operations.Company Overview:

Employment Status: Hourly (30-40 hours per week)
