We have an exciting opportunity for an Undergraduate Intern with a field of study in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry or Engineering Physics to join our High Voltage Science and Capacitors Team within the Electromagnetic Systems Group in San Diego, California! The successful candidate will work along high-caliber staff and will be engaged in the engineering support in the development of materials and capacitors, data analysis and scientific interpretation and reporting results to management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist GA-EMS engineers, scientists, and chief engineers in testing of high-voltage, high-energy, pulsed-power capacitors.Assist with electrical engineering analyses and design for systems and circuits, automate and document test cells, record findings, communicate results to engineering and program management staff, and give technical presentations.Assists in applying knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve problems.Assists in developing electronic and hard copy reports, records, diagrams and charts.Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
