Purpose & Responsibilities of Position:
The Value Access and Contracting (VAC) Intern will have the opportunity to learn more about how Grifols Value Access and Contracting works to positively shape US Healthcare by 1.) Eliminating barriers to treatment and patient care 2.) Truncating time to diagnosis and appropriate treatment and 3) supporting competitive readiness for evolving market dynamics.
This VAC Intern will assist with the implementation of access promotional strategies, identifying customer & competitive insights, and evolving the portfolio value proposition and supporting deliverables accordingly to ensure optimal impact.
Shape strategies that deliver innovations and medications to patients Gain real-world experience working on high visibility assignments across the product cycle from concept to commercialization Learn how we generate evidence to demonstrate the value of our products to key stakeholders Ensure patients have access to our products and maintain treatment affordability Work on projects that focus on Market Access, Health Economics & Outcomes, Pricing or Health Policy Drive projects across Grifols plasma portfolio
Skills/Qualifications/Education Requirements: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Currently pursuing an MBA, MA, MS, MPH, PharmD, in Economics, Epidemiology, Psychology, Public Health, Pharmacy, Health Outcomes Research, Health Services Research, or other market access related degree Self-motivated, team-focused individual with strong communication and analytical skills Driven to learn about market access, product development and evidence generation to demonstrate the value of products to key stakeholders Familiarity/comfort with Excel, including working with Macros and pivot tables; Microsoft word and PowerPoint
