Internal Accountant
**Job Title: Internal Accountant** **Location: Charleston, WV** **Position Type: Part-time (Approximately 30 hours per week)** **Hourly Rate: $20/hour** **About Us:** **We are seeking an Internal Accountant with a Bachelor’s Degree to join our non-profit organization. This opportunity offers a chance to utilize your financial expertise in a collaborative and professional environment.** **Key Responsibilities:** + **Prepare and maintain journal entries and financial statements** + **Reconcile and balance accounts between intercompany financials** + **Prepare bank reconciliations** + **Prepare biweekly payroll and maintain PTO balances and accruals** + **Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll taxes and remit payment** + **Reconcile and prepare annual W-2s and 1099s** + **Administer Flex Spending program and reconciliation of employee benefits** + **Assist in the preparation of the annual budget** **Qualifications:** + **Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field** + **Proficiency in financial statement preparation and journal entries** + **Experience with accounts payable and bank reconciliations** + **Familiarity with W-2 and 1099 preparation** **Why Work With Us?** **Join a team that values your skills and offers opportunities for professional growth.
