Trinity Industries is looking for a motivated Summer Intern to join our Internal Audit department. This position offers hands-on experience in internal audit and SOX control testing, providing a valuable opportunity to gain practical insights into the field.

Responsibilities

Participate in internal audit and SOX control testing. Collaborate with the Internal Audit team to ensure compliance with SOX regulations. Assist in the preparation and review of audit documentation. Provide support in the evaluation of internal controls and risk management processes. Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Students with exposure to College Internal Audit Programs, such as those at UTD, TAMU, and LSU, are highly preferred) Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork skills Experience: Prior experience or coursework in internal audit or SOX compliance is a plus
