Our Internal Audit Summer Internship Program is a 10-week, paid internship that primarily consists of the execution of assigned internal audit projects. Assist with testing related to the Company’s SOX 404 program including completing and documenting key process walk-throughs and testing controls. Assist in the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases of financial, operations and compliance internal audits and special projects. Gather and analyze data to identify potential risks and control weaknesses utilizing data analytic tools (Alteryx, Power BI). Address and complete all review notes resulting from completed audit work. Provide meaningful communications to audit management. Complete research of technical and industry matters, as required. Perform other duties as requested, including selected data analysis and administrative tasks. Local travel may be required, but not to exceed 5%. Learn more about Rollins careers as well as our diversity, equity and inclusion efforts on our careers page: www.careers.rollins.com Qualifications The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements): Education, Training & Professional Experience: Presently enrolled as a Junior or higher, in an undergraduate or master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Information Systems, or similar disciplines. Completed coursework in Auditing is a preferred plus. Minimum GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale is required. Relevant work experience is a plus. Local student to the Atlanta office. Able to commute to the office 3 days a week. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Client service orientation and self-starting demeanor. High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement. Ability to work on teams as well as on individual assignments. Desire to gain professional experience; eager to learn; strong work ethic. Demonstrate foundational understanding of accounting and finance processes. Proven analytical ability and attention to detail. Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication (verbal and written) skills. Ability to manage time and prioritize assignments. Proficient in using MS Office Suite such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Physical Demands / Working Environment: We require the ability to pass a drug screen and background checks.
