Job Description
This position reports to the Senior Internal Auditor and will assist with the testing of financial internal controls, performing operational audit procedures, and analyzing data, with a solution-oriented, process improvement emphasis.
As a part of the intern program, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the following:
Networking Events – Zurn Elkay hosts multiple networking opportunities in the Summer that give you exposure to other interns, the leadership team, and executive leaders.
Coaching and Mentoring – You will have a structured onboarding process to introduce you to Zurn Elkay's corporate culture and provide you with regular feedback.
Real Work Experience – Our internship process does not include getting coffee for your boss or running copies. We will provide you with a real opportunity to run reports, share your analysis, and improve our processes.
This internship will be located in our Milwaukee, WI Headquarters.
Key Accountabilities
Support the Internal Audit Department, assisting with:
Testing key financial Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICOFR)
Conducting operational audits and supporting special projects
Performing substantive testing on behalf of external auditors
Analyzing data to identify trends and create value
Managing administrative tasks and contributing to project coordination
Qualifications/Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
Proficiency in MS Office. Advanced Excel proficiency preferred
Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
