Title:  Internal Audit Manager
Location: Houston, TX or Clayton, MO

 

Salary: $112,500 - $163,750
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week

Focus: The Internal Audit Manager is responsible for leading a team of auditors and management of financial and operational internal audits for Olin Corporation.  This role will also be involved in fraud investigations, assistance with the annual SOX process, and other special projects. 


Internal Audit Manager Essential Job Functions: Plan, manage, and conduct independent auditing assignments to evaluate established internal controls and provide Management with an objective analysis of activities. Research and analyze relevant information, develop audit findings with business area management, prepare and edit audit reports and work papers, and recommend necessary corrective action, process improvements in the organization’s controls and/or operations, and offer best practice recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization’s processes. Provide leadership to departmental initiatives, including further refinement of audit methodology, leveraging technology within audits, and enterprise risk management. Plan, assign and supervise the daily activity and work of audit staff.  Internal Audit Manager Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's Degree* in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA and/or CIA required. Minimum of 8 years of experience with auditing, consulting, and/or management experience with a heavy emphasison financial and accounting applications. Significant experience with a public accounting firm is preferred.  Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP, practices, techniques and theories of financial reporting and internal control; internal auditing standards, practices and techniques. Solid supervisory, leadership, and audit project management experience. Prior experience auditing in and/or utilizing SAP. Experience working with large datasets, data analytics tools, AI or audit process automation is preferred. Excellent organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
