Internal Audit, Transaction Banking, Vice President
General Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of transaction banking business areas, its products, and supporting functionsAssist in every step of an audit including scoping, planning, fieldwork and reportingExecute audit testing and supervise junior team members to ensure audit fieldwork is focused on the right areas and documentation meets high quality standardsIdentify risks, assess mitigating controls, and make recommendations on improving the control environmentPrepare commercially effective audit conclusions and findings, and present to IA senior management and business clientsFollow-up on open audit issues and their resolutionAssist in the audit team’s continuous monitoring effort to cover market and regulatory events, business and technology updates and audit/reviews completedParticipate in department-wide initiatives aimed at continually improving IA's processes and supporting infrastructureGeneral Skills and Experience:
Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityStrong leadership, interpersonal, and relationship management skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsHighly motivated with the ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced environmentSolid analytical skillsSpecific Audit Skills and Experience:
Experience related to payments or transaction/corporate banking is requiredTransaction Banking Team Specific Skills and Experience:
Approximately 5+ years of experience in internal audit, or a related control function in transaction bankingExperience auditing BIN program, virtual accounts, money movements and payment rails such as CHAPS, FEDWIRE, Bacs and SEPA is a plusStrong understanding of payment processing program components, risks and controls4-year degree in finance and businessRelevant certification or industry accreditation (e.g., CPA, CFA, CIA, CAMS, FRM) is a plusExperience with Data Analytics is a plusExperience in managing integrated business and technology audits for detail-oriented team players who have an interest in financial markets and want to gain insight into the firm’s operations and control processes.ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS
