Job Description
Currently seeking an experienced, professional Internal Auditor for corporate operations based in Lenexa, Kansas. This individual will perform operational and financial reviews of branch operations designed to add value through improved internal controls, mitigation of risk, and improving various operating efficiencies.
ResponsibilitiesWorking with Management on scheduling, planning, and executing operational, safety, and financial audits of branch operations.Evaluating branch compliance with company policies and operating procedures.Preparing written reports for branch/operations management, corporate finance and accounting management, and the Board of Directors.Consulting with CFO, Operations Controllers, Regional Controllers, and Operations Managers at various levels to assess business metrics and improve operational effectiveness.Assisting in establishing and maintaining corporate policies and procedures.Assisting in the year-end audit of the company’s consolidated financial statements and employee benefit plans.Assisting in performing due diligence on acquisitions.Assisting Regional and Operations Controllers, Corporate Accounting, or Tax Department on special projects.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience in operations, corporate accounting, public accounting, or internal auditing.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.Audit, Accounting, Internal Audit, Internal Audit Accounting, GAAP.Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with internal employees.Willingness to travel up to 15-20% to different branches.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the construction industry preferred.Work Environment
The role reports to the Director of Internal Audit. The work environment is in-office and highly collaborative.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00
