Internal Auditor
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Internal Auditor in the Gambling Industries, based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves a thorough understanding of audit programs, accounting functions, and audit findings. You will be expected to leverage your skills in auditing and risk-based internal auditing to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough and detailed internal audits across various departments. • Analyze and assess risk in the operational processes. • Draft clear and concise audit reports to communicate findings and recommendations. • Apply a risk-based approach to audit processes. • Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation. • Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure corrective actions are taken to resolve audit findings. • Implement data analytics in auditing processes for effective decision-making. • Maintain constant communication with management regarding audit findings and recommendations. • Ensure all accounting functions are being performed accurately and in a timely manner. • Continuously enhance knowledge on latest auditing techniques and best practices. Requirements • At least 3 years' experience in the Internal Auditing field • Proficiency in Audit Program development and execution • Solid understanding and practical experience with Accounting Functions • Demonstrated ability to identify and communicate Audit Findings effectively • Experience in Auditing within the Gambling Industry is a plus • Proficiency in Risk-based Internal Auditing • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required • Detail oriented certification such as CIA, CPA or CISA is highly desirable • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information • Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
