Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor III to support our Infrastructure Internal Audit team. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in IT auditing or related fields. This role involves planning and performing audits, analyzing findings, and documenting results to support conclusions. The auditor will draft reports with actionable recommendations to improve controls and present these findings to executive management. The role also includes participating in continuous risk assessments, collaborating with product teams and engineering to ensure compliance, and reviewing the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls within complex proprietary technology systems.
ResponsibilitiesConduct audits and reviews of technology infrastructure, including network architecture, production systems, and cloud computing.Support various phases of internal audit projects such as planning, researching, testing, and reporting.Evaluate, test, and document internal controls related to IT infrastructure.Identify areas of risk and provide recommendations for improvement.Document audit findings and prepare reports for management.Support the team in researching technical domains, identifying opportunities, and engaging with stakeholders.Assess and communicate key changes, emerging risks, and trends across the technology and infrastructure landscape.Stay current on emerging trends and developments within the technology environment.Essential Skills3 years of IT audit or related experience, such as system evaluation, risk analysis, and security testing.Knowledge of IT infrastructure and IT audit frameworks.Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with the team and stakeholders.Data analytics skills and the ability to assess large datasets for audit purposes.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in IT auditing or risk analysis.Strong understanding of IT systems.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is a plus.Work Environment
The role is based onsite at MPK with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days in the office. The position offers the opportunity to work on multiple projects throughout the year, gain experience in big tech systems, and focus on system and IT auditing. Performance will be measured by on-time deliverables, quality of audit work, and the ability to work effectively within the team.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00
