As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Internal Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. This role is critical to ensuring the financial health and efficiency of our operations. Key Responsibilities: ● Financial Record Management: Maintain and update accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries. ● Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure smooth financial operations. ● Budgeting and Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and provide insights for budgeting and forecasting. ● Invoice Management: Generate, review, and manage invoices, ensuring timely payment from clients and vendors. ● Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements, including tax filings and reporting. ● Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize expenses related to projects and operational Costs. ● Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, the operations team, and external accountants during audits or tax preparation. Qualifications: ● Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a construction or remodeling industry. ● Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. ● Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. ● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. ● Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. ● Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders. ● Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
