Internal Communications Analyst
The Commercial & Investment Bank's (CIB) Internal Communications team develops innovative communications programs that help ensure employees understand the business strategy, priorities, and culture, and are engaged in leading results. As an Internal Communications Analyst you will report into the head of Global Markets Internal Communications, and will be responsible for supporting communications initiatives across the Markets Trading businesses. This includes, writing a wide array of content for the intranet, drafting executive messages and proofreading, as well as supporting event logistics for town halls, leadership meetings and offsites. You will have the opportunity to support various CIB-wide initiatives and partner with the global teams across Communications as well as partners in Media Relations and Marketing. **Job responsibilities:** + Support communications projects/initiatives + Write content and messaging (intranet articles, announcements, talking points, event invitations, town halls, blogs, video scripts, etc.) consistent with communication objectives related to business vision and strategy + Support with sending business-wide organizational announcements, executive messages and event invitations + Assist with the planning and logistics of town halls, business update calls, receptions and other internal events + Maintain tracking systems for communication metrics, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date + Partner with global CIB Internal Communications colleagues to understand goals and assist in implementing communications plans + Ensure effective communications globally, in coordination with Corporate Communications and regional communicators as needed **Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:** + BA/BS degree; 1+ years of experience + Strategic thinking, attention to detail and tactical execution skills + Superior verbal, written and interpersonal skills; strong editing skills; web knowledge/digital savvy + Ability to effectively partner with direct management, team members and executives; must work well with all levels of employees and execute on all assignments in a timely fashion + Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize high-volume, high-priority initiatives + Close attention to detail on events, written work and strategic advice + Commitment to maintaining the firm's high standards related to risk, compliance and the Code of Conduct + High level of independence, energy and integrity, demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and accepts accountability and responsibility + Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours depending on business needs + Expertise in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
