Internal Communications Coordinator
+ Provide a range of editorial and communications consult to coworkers and other business partners, mostly tactical, as necessary, including creation and execution of communication plans. + Creates fun, creative new ideas to enhance employee engagement. + Contribute to other key team projects, as required. + Channel Management: "Owns an Internal channel, like Social (Yammer), with responsibility to innovate and educate. "Lead content creation and publication for ULs Yammer 'Company All'. + Involves news gathering, editing and publishing. "Lead content creation and publication for ULs Yammer 'Company All'. + Involves news gathering, editing and publishing. + "Back-up for UL Intranet, including publication for ULs Intranet. + Content creation contributor, all channels. + Writing and Content Production. + Strong writing skills, with some editing experience. + Can produce writing content for multiple channels including articles, social, PowerPoint and email. + Source content from business partners around the company and write and edit articles brief and extended form for newsletters/ intranet. + Publish content to intranet and other digital formats and help with weekly production cycles. + Create content for internal social media channel and help with channels ongoing evolution. + Project Management/Production: Play a supporting role in project managing projects. + Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE. + Preferred Degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field. + Generally, 2 years or more of related experience or demonstrated competency. MINIMUM SKILLS PREFERRED. + Strong written and oral communication skills. + Strong collaboration skills. + Demonstrated project planning and management skills. + Basic business acumen. + Ability to apply strategic frameworks. + Budget tracking. + Knowledge of analytical fundamentals. + Ability to work in a matrix environment. MINIMUM ABILITIES PREFERRED. + Able to understand technical and scientific issues and to translate complex information for non-scientific audiences. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using a wide array of marketing technology and communications tools. What we offer: Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $66,600 to $75,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country.
