Apple is looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to own and facilitate internal communications on behalf of AIS, ensuring one voice for security and establishment of a cohesive AIS brand. This includes development of governance requirements, communication strategies, and cross functional relationships with communication partners across Apple (Corp. Comms, PR, Legal, and Embedded Security Teams). This individual will also own and manage the tooling that facilities written communications, ensuring all messages sent from AIS adhere to specific branded templates, messaging guidelines, and follow established approval workflows. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer and communicator who is able to quickly establish relationships, draft content and plans, obtain required approvals from key partners, and able to develop different ways of communicating to employees across the company about the different Apple Information Security policies, programs and resources. **Description** As the Internal Communications Specialist you will: *Develop and implement enterprise communication plans/tooling that build awareness and understanding of AIS programs, policies and initiatives. *Write and draft engaging content communication vehicles, including emails, presentations, videos, and signage. *Support internal partners by working closely with them to understand business needs and drafting tailored communication plans and content. *Create and track metrics and other data analytics to help communications planning and to adjust plans, as necessary. **Minimum Qualifications** + Minimum 5-7 years of experience in communications or public relations. + Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with maturity and confidence in working with colleagues across all levels of the organization. + Demonstrated ability in drafting and implementing communication strategies. + Self-motivated communications professional who can manage workloads to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, ambiguous environments. + Experience developing communication plans that span across strategy, audiences, creative opportunities and measurable KPI’s + Ability to take sometimes complex information security topics and distill them into simple and engaging content. + Experience working with events and campaign launches, including both the creative development and production process for multidisciplinary executions. + Detail oriented with excellent grammar skills, along with an eye for design. + Proficient in Pages, Numbers, Keynote, design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other technology solutions for communication needs. + Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years equivalent work experience, with a background in Communications, Journalism, or Information Security. **Key Qualifications** **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience in information security communications. + Expertise on the communication process and how different inputs and messaging impact different audiences. + Strong project management experience, with the ability to drive multiple priorities simultaneously on deadline and within budget. + Persuasive approach and a record of strong collaboration with cross-functional partners. Models collaboration across the organization and facilitates an open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and stakeholders. + Well-adept at "influencing without direct authority”. + Provide thought leadership in communications trends, information security trends and emerging media and technology. + Experience in working with content management systems, website design, and managing social media and communication applications. + Design, develop, and lead social learning cohorts that promote cross-functional collaboration on passion projects, expanding skillsets and driving innovation in the security space + Conduct skill mapping across the organization to establish formal cross-organizational mentor partnerships, fostering both learning and mentoring opportunities + Initiate and manage learning projects from needs analysis to deployment, considering the complexities of a diverse audience + Developing a long-term vision for content strategy and aligning it with overall business objectives + Knowledge of adult learning principles, modalities, methods, and standard methodologies in learning, including culturally responsive and inclusive practices + Drive innovative approaches to L&D and guide process improvements + Engage with vendors to measure quality and effectiveness of their deliverables + Measure, understand and communicate the overall impact learning content has on business operations to the leadership team + Support the development of L&D content, processes and execute with consistent quality and timeliness + Enthusiasm for working in cross-functional teams as well as autonomously + Consulting with business partners to provide creative solutions to address identified strategic challenges + Exceptional attention to detail **Education & Experience** **Additional Requirements** **Pay & Benefits** + At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,900 and $201,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
