Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries seeks an entry-level Accounting Analyst to work within our Global Accounting Team and specifically SOX Reporting.
Essential Responsibilities:
Work interdepartmentally to understand business processes and validate completeness of data.Review and update process documentation as necessary with process owners (maintain narratives / flowcharts which describe financial and operational processes).Work with subject matter experts on identifying areas of improvement & streamlining business processes.Coordinate end to end business process walkthroughs with co-servicer and external audit team.Assist in efforts of all phases of SOX Compliance including risk assessment & Scoping, documentation of process walkthroughs, identifying controls and key reports, testing and reporting results. Manage and proactively seek opportunities to optimize use of Audit board and drive efficiencies throughout the organization by using the Audit board platform.Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.Required Qualifications:
Education – Graduating with a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited degree program. Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing. Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)Preferred Qualifications:

Expected Salary Range
$47,300.00 - $84,400.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
