Internal Logistic General Supervisor

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

\n\nEffectively manage and coordinate staff, as well as warehouses, line deliveries, receipts and shipments, ensuring timely strategies throughout the supply chain, complying with H&S processes and alignments.\nTalent development and management of financial and operational resources.\nEnsure supervision over staff (absenteeism and turnover), Customer Focus, Effective Communication between Support teams.\n\n

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

\n\nVerifiable experience as General Supervisor in logistics, minimum 5 years.\nSchooling: Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar.\n\n

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS

\n\nLeadership, communication, motivation and team integration skills.\nKnowledge of spreadsheets, power point and all computer skills.\nStrong knowledge of SAP.\nProblem solving.\nBilingual Spanish / English.\nLean Manufacturing\nEffective Communications\nStrong Leadership Skills\nStrong Project Management Skills\nSolid experience in budget tracking\nConflict management and delegation\nPunctual and responsible\nKnowledge in areas of materials, Internal Logistics, External Logistics, customs, planning, purchasing, transportation, inventory control and warehouse management\n\n

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES

\n\nManages the fulfillment of company objectives.\nCoordinates and expedites materials, parts and assemblies between sections or departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities\nIs responsible for WIP and warehouse inventories, inventory accuracy and timely delivery of material to the production floor.\nLeads and develops the correct execution of delivery and reception.\nPerforms communication, planning and feedback activities prior to the departure of the material to guarantee shipments.\nSupervises and evaluates the activities of the staff according to company standards.\nResponsible for process optimization in the Logistics Department. Also, ensure that the department objectives for PSP / DMAIC / OPS, IDEAS are met.\nEnsure the monitoring of the processes, by the assigned team (SAP Transactions, Checklist, H&S).\nEffective execution and development in the Changeover year.\nParticipate in the compliance of the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for your function in relation to ISO9001:2015.\nComply with the safety rules determined according to your function.\nComply on time with the planned training related to Quality and Training.\nIdentify and report any issues regarding quality and compliance and support corrective actions.\n\n
