Internal Temporary 1st shift Cut Floor Production Supervisor  HOURS:1st Shift - flexible as needed or requiredSaturdays as requiredDUTIES: Supervise, evaluate and direct production employees on shift in performing operations according to policies and proceduresStimulate maximize safety, efficiency, quality and productivity of production employeesEnsure proper training of employeesMonitor and confirm that machinery, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient productionWork closely with other production supervisors and management to promote efficiency and teamwork in the departmentAttend meetings as scheduled and calledPerform other duties as needed or assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of the Cut Floor Operation and the industry preferred but not requiredKnowledge and technical skills in a variety of production jobsHigh School Diploma or GED requireMust be people oriented, be able to understand employee’s needs, good motivator, and be able to teach new skills to employeesUnderstand and comply with Company policy and proceduresGood communications skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent organizational, math and statistical skillsGood work history and attendanceTeam Player with leadership skillsBilingual and College preferred but not requiredResume requiredMust have less than 2 points to be considered for an interviewInternal job posting- internal employees only   REQUIRED: Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation FOR SALARIED ROLES: As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
