International Compensation Analyst II - US Remote

Cartus is currently seeking a Manager to join our Danbury, CT International Assignment Compensation Services Team. **International Assignment Compensation Services Analyst II Job Description:** The IACS Analyst II will support the IACS team in a timely and efficient manner. The candidate will accurately gather, analyze, process, and communicate international assignment related compensation data according to Cartus and client policy. The Analyst II will be accountable for accuracy of their own workload as well as audit the work of an Analyst I and Associate to ensure customer and client needs are met in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner. **Essential Duties Include Some the Following:** + Research and compile data used to produce deliverables such as cost projections, assignment letters , and initial and active balance sheets + Prepare and audit complex cost projections, letters of assignment, compensation balance sheets, and conduct self-reviews of all deliverables using checklists + Prepare and track Certificates of Coverage + Perform a self-audit targeting 100% accuracy + Perform an audit of deliverables, payroll and year-end reports prepared by a peer or associate + Liaise with Cartus International Assignment Consultants to initiate, update and cease assignment allowances for international assignees + Prepare and audit payroll changes using Cartus software and forward to client’s payroll or Relocation Accounting Services team for processing + Monitor and calculate adjustments to assignment allowances and deductions and communicate information to all appropriate contacts + Reconcile allowances paid through payroll with monthly audits against payroll instructions provided by Cartus and resolve discrepancies through communication with global client payrolls + Gather, track and upload worldwide compensation data from multiple sources including home and host country payroll and finance teams. Audit data collected for accuracy, compliance and policy consistency + Build and maintain reports, monitor the integrity and validity of the data reported by using logic checklists + Work with large amounts of data and build tools to streamline the collection and audit process + Prepare and maintain the Compensation Accumulation Tool (CAT) and tracking tool + Audit assignee information in various databases, client specific trackers, and reports + Provide support on shadow payroll reporting by generating compensation reports, timely distribution to client or clients’ appointed tax service providers, and responding to questions raised by client or the tax service providers + Guide and train less experienced or new team members on Cartus protocol and client-specific policies/processes + Interpret client policies and apply benefits based on the policies + Maintain and enhance relations with Cartus' internal departments and external suppliers/partners in regards to exceeding client expectations + Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel including formulas and formatting functions such as V-lookup, pivot tables, etc. + Provide support on projects and other duties as directed + Assist with preparation of billing when necessary and understand the impact of the financial impact of client’s service level agreements + Serve as team mentor on client processes and procedures in addition to handling all standard analyst I duties + Assist in monitoring and mentoring Analyst I and Associate to standard International Assignment Compensation Services processes and procedures **To qualify for the role you must have:** + Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in related field preferred (Accounting, Economics, Math, International Business, Human Resources Management) or similar work experience + 2 to 4 years of working experience preferable in the field of global mobility, accounting, payroll, compensation, international human resources, or tax experience in a multinational corporation + Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Programs, especially Excel + Systems proficiency and demonstrated ability to learn new technical systems + Possess strong organization, planning and analytical skills + Strong aptitude for numbers + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Proactive and possess strong problem solving skills + Ability to document processes + Natural curiosity about how processes work and why + Demonstrated competency of Analyst I job responsibilities and knowledge **Ideally, you’ll also have:** + Knowledge of Cartus products and services highly desirable + Understanding of world affairs, geography and economic issues + Language skills or international living/working experience Knowledge of foreign assignment matters (payroll, accounts payable, relocation, tax, and compensation and benefits) + Preferred SQL coding and VBA knowledge with ability to write macros **Core Competencies:** + Strong analytical skills + Detail and deadline oriented + Results focused + Client and customer service oriented + Strong organization, planning, and prioritization skills + Excellent communication skills + Team player + Flexible and ability to multi-task and perform under pressure + Initiative + Mentoring and training skills + Self-motivated and able to work independently + Technology skills **Why Choose Cartus?** + Comprehensive Health Benefits + Top 50 Most Engaged Workplaces 2 years in a row + Rated Number One Large Relocation Company by Trippel Survey & Research + Gold Stevie Award for Customer Service + Recognized Among Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces in North America + 2017 Winner of the Top 125 Training + 2017 Winner of the World’s Most Ethical Companies + On Site Health Facility * + On Site Wellness Center * + To learn more about Employee Stories go here: https://www.cartus.com/en/global/about-cartus/employee-stories/ *Available in Danbury, CT office Cartus (https://cartus.com/en/) is leaning into its essence, **Where Mobility Meets Agility®.** With nearly 70 years in operation, Cartus is an industry leader in global talent mobility and corporate relocation services.
