How you will create an impact
This exciting global role is integral to the management and oversight of approximately 170 third party arrangements (TPAs) with a Claims delegation across four international regions. You will oversee the drafting, management and compliance of contracts with third party administrators. This role is crucial ensuring that all contractual agreements align with AIG's preferred templates and governance policies. The role is split between the management of existing contracts across international as well as the contractual onboarding of any new third parties with the claims delegation.
You will have a large span of control, gain lots of great experience, and you will engage with senior leaders across the business and grow your network.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
+ Contract Drafting and Management: Draft, refine, and manage contracts for TPAs across four regions, aligning with AIG’s preferred templates. This includes revising existing contracts and drafting new agreements to ensure compliance with AIG's standards and regulatory requirements.
+ Oversight of TPA Agreements: Manage the ongoing contractual requirements for TPAs in collaboration with local and regional Legal and Regulatory Teams, ensuring all agreements are compliant with AIG’s governance policies.
+ Due Diligence and Risk Compliance: Oversee due diligence activities, ensuring that all TPAs meet AIG’s compliance and risk management standards. This includes managing the IT security (CBRA) activities to maintain robust due diligence protocols.
+ Stakeholder Collaboration: Interface with Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance Teams, as well as Claims Senior Leadership, to ensure that contractual obligations are fully met and aligned with AIG’s strategic priorities.
+ Controls Validation: Conduct control validation audits to ensure the wider team operates within AIG policies and processes
+ Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance the efficiency of TPA management and oversight. Implement changes that align with AIG’s strategic initiatives to promote best-in-class underwriting and claims operations.
+ Problem Solving and Decision Making: Analyse complex contractual and regulatory scenarios, providing clear and effective solutions that uphold AIG's governance standards.
What you’ll need to succeed
+ Degree qualified in a relevant field such as law or business administration
+ Proven experience in drafting, revising and managing contracts for 3rd party administrators ideally within the insurance sector.
+ An understanding of the compliance and regulatory requirements across international.
+ Strong negotiation and communication skills
+ Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail ensuring thorough reviews of contracts and documentation.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with legal, clients and regulatory teams
+ Problem solving abilities - strong analytical skills enabling you to identify and address potential contractual issues product proactively.
+ Proven ability to effectively report and communicate issues an risk identified in the contract management process.
