Job Summary:
JOB SUMMARY:This position coordinates export orders and field inquiries from department, customers, and sales representatives in order to provide excellent customer service.
Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coordinates export orders with customers (Dealers and or Licensee's) and plants, including tracking and review of ETS dates, addressing late parts situations, coordinating with consolidating plant any changes and corrections to orders and be a primary liaison to all other business areas on in effort to provide excellent customer service. • Process price adjustment credits, merchandise credits, replacement part orders, and advertising materials orders for Dealers. • Assist with the coordination of warranty service claims from Dealers • Assist in the reconciling of all La-Z-Boy Incorporated company invoices with the commercial invoice for each order. • Assist licensees and selected dealers with information necessary to assure proper service and/or sales for La-Z-Boy products produced in US plants and offshore plants. • Update and maintain Engineering Information for Licensees and communicate Product Information to Licensees as needed. SCOPE & IMPACT: Primarily duties provide customer service to Dealers and Licensees and to ensure the accuracy of the order and commercial invoicing which is used for final payment by customer and also used by the for export and import customs entry. Following established policies and procedures, and provide appropriate accurate information related to invoicing and custom compliance is critical to preventing unnecessary risk to the company. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • High School diploma or GED with 0-2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent. • Prior customer service experience for high volume accounts with success processing order entries and customer/dealer resolutions • Excellent verbal and communication skills required. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word & Excel. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: • Associate’s Degree. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office environment / no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.
