This Trainee role is to provide exposure to the beginning to end supply chain processes of ingredients and international segment at Saputo. This person will spend a rotation working with the different groups in the department starting with our International Account Specialist Team, Export and Ingredient Demand Analyst, and Export and Ingredient Supply Analyst. In each of these rotations they will take over a small portion of the responsibilities from the team learn everything from processing international orders and the documentation process, to monitoring inventory levels, reviewing open orders, and gathering updates on demand trends and forecasts from the sales team. 

How you will make contributions that matter...

Create and process orders for international & domestic ingredient customers.  

Prepare export documentation and arrange booking appointments with freight forwarders. 

Review upcoming customer contracts and orders. 

Support comprehensive analysis on ingredient supply chain processes.  

Assist in monitoring ingredient inventory levels and collaborate with the procurement team to ensure optimal levels are maintained.  

Analyze global market trends, competitor activities, and customer demand to identify new export opportunities.  

Assist and owns ad hoc financial projects and research as needed.  

Complete project work as assigned. 

You are best suited for the role if you…

Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Supply Chain or a related field. 

Experience with Microsoft Excel. 

Are a quick learner with professional demeanor.   

Are self-motivated, able to multi-task, can work independently, and as part of a team.  

Demonstrate professionalism and positively represents and promotes Saputo at all times. 

Have the ability to work scheduled hours and required overtime as needed. 

Display traits of reliability, honesty, respect, attention to detail, and punctuality.  

Can communicate effectively and efficiently.
