The Opportunity

CSL Behring is undergoing extensive and positive change as we expand and grow. In addition to contributing to Australia's export economy, CSL has invested and continues to invest in substantial new Logistic Hub facilities that will support our global strategy and provide the network with crucial supply of product sourced from our Melbourne facility.

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a Logistics Analyst to join the International Logistics team at our Broadmeadows site.

Reporting to the Manager International Logistics, you will be responsible to assist management in the day-to-day operations as they pertain to shipping, receiving and storage activities for all CSL Behring Manufacturing sites globally.

You will coordinate distribution and international transportation to meet financial targets and create required export shipping documentation to meet Compliance requirements. You will also manage the export declaration process according to requirements, format, transmission medium, approval and completion status.

The Role

Delivery Processing: Select relevant orders for delivery, and create outbound delivery, provide relevant batch, billing and shipping documentationStock Transfer Buyer: Perform stock transfer responsibilities, including determining order types, ensuring correct information is associated with the order, and verifying pricing, import, and delivery and shipping informationExport Order Management: Manage export order process, including creating export orders by type, determining order reason codes, and processing orders by fulfilling, blocking, or rejecting themTransportation Management: Coordinate transportation and shipment of materials, including creating or maintaining freight forwarder relationshipsReporting: Contribute to monthly reports and finance forecastsTraining Development and Delivery: Provide training for new team members and trainees on the order management processes at the different manufacturing sites

Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience within Logistics or Supply ChainExperience working in and knowledge of various aspects of warehousing, distribution, inventory control, export and transportation preferredAbility to work independently and on a compressed time scheduleDemonstrated critical thinking/problem solving skills requiredProficient in MS Office Suite including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word
