International Market Access Director, Immunology, Skyrizi Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative colitis (IBD)

Job Description

In this role you will be in charge of all IBD related indications for Skyrizi, meaning maximizing the potential of CD while launching in UC and preparing for the pediatric indications for IBD. The IBD landscape is becoming more and more crowded and hence there is a need to clearly understand the International markets, map how competition will act and plan for proactive and reactive tactics to maximize the value of Skyrizi IBD at launch and throughout the lifecycle to unleash the full potential of Skyrizi IBD. 

Profile: Seasoned leader with in-depth understanding and experience in Pharma Industry with many years of experience from Leadership positions within Market Access. Strong strategic skills and great business acumen and the ability to understand and build a strong access strategy and guide markets to best business outcome. Practice an Innovative and curious approach to allow outcome is maximized across the markets despite tough access challenges.   

Strong executive communication and experience from working in a matrix organization with indirect leadership skills to allow impact across the organization. Experience of working across different countries and cultures is a clear advantage.

Overall Responsibilities Include:

Analyze, synthesize, and translate technical HEOR, P&R information, into strategy and meaningful recommendations and tacticsStrategically advice and support pricing, reimbursement, access (PRA) across international key markets, focusing on the EU5, CAN, JPN, AUS, and ChinaLeading the International Value and Access team for Skyrizi IBD, developing International integrated access strategies, championing the access ambitions, owning all International VAT deliverables and communications in collaboration with Rinvoq IBD to maximize the cross-portfolio IBD valueOrchestrate and support country launches for UC and prepare for the IBD Pediatric indications. Incorporate competitive intelligence in tactics and value storyDevelop and update international access materials (IAS, value proposition, objection handler, negotiation pathway, etc.) based on emerging clinical data and competitor dynamics.Ped derm: Define the international pricing & access strategy, prepare preliminary value materials, and influence commercial strategy & integrated evidence plans to optimize price, reimbursement, and patient accessCollaborate and drive the cross-functional agenda and ensure tight AREA and LBU collaboration and co-creation

Basic:

BA/BS degree requiredProven track record of being able to successfully interact with all levels of area, affiliate and internal authority across divisions (including International Commercial Leaders, Clinical Development, HEOR, Medical Affairs and Regulatory, as well as peer equivalents in other market access teams)Must be up to date on the latest compliance issues pertaining to Corporate guidelines, interactions with HCPs and External Experts and the conduct of market researchThe candidate must possess strong leadership, intrapersonal, critical thinking and analytical skills to work with a variety of groups in ensuring that the strategic direction for market access and pricing is in balance with the market as well as corporate goalsThe candidate must be sensitive to cultural and market differences as they will interact and travel to multiple countries in their roleThis candidate must have strong presentation and writing skillsThe candidate must have at least 7+ years of progressive experience preferably in a variety of areas including market access, managed care marketing, key account management, payer support, commercial marketing, HEOR, pricing, and payer policy

Preferred:

MBA, MS, Pharm D, or other advanced degree preferredA Background in managed care, payer marketing, global market access policy, or a related field is preferredStrong knowledge of pricing regulations, pricing governance in key global markets, standard operating procedures, and the business of healthcare in key marketsExperience with clinical and health economic data is desirableExperience across multiple therapeutic areas including Immunology is highly desirable
