International Relationship Sr Associate

The International Relationship, Senior Associate supports the Lead Relationship Manager(s) with the daily servicing of the client book of business and the internal administration of client banking accounts. The Senior Associate role requires regular communication with clients and an expanded understanding of the client’s financial structure and profile. Has specific knowledge or expertise typically gained through formal education or equivalent experience. Uses expertise to provide guidance to others as a project manager or consultant. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.

Major Duties

1. Supports Lead Relationship Managers in gathering assets under management, deposits and loan production

2. Operates independently with within established guidelines and policies; has an expanded conceptual knowledge of business unit / function

3. Analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment to help lead RMs provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level

4. Solves problems in straightforward situations

5. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team

Qualifications

• A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred

• Requires expanded conceptual knowledge of banking products and services

• Flexibility, to accommodate the needs of a client or a situation at hand

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Highly proficient in Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, World, Power Point, etc.)

• Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work

• Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations

• Multilingual (fluent in English and Spanish), needed to develop knowledge of the client's country and contacts clients frequently

• Very well versed in KYC/AML procedures and has a thorough understanding of the issues involved in our thorough onboarding process.

This is an office-based position and for the effective performance of this role, the duties and responsibilities must be carried out onsite.
