What the day will look like Aon Consulting, Inc. seeks an International Retirement Associate based out of headquarters in Chicago, Illinois to conduct global retirement actuarial analysis. Prepare ASC715 disclosure results for international clients. Review and consolidate figures provided from local actuaries at year-end. Discuss and calculate the impact figures of the special events. Prepare pension budget figures. Prepare answers to the questions from auditors. Provide quarterly updates on benefits plans. Perform global retirement consulting. Prepare contribution requirements and accounting costs. Interpret valuation results and provide initial actuarial recommendations to lead actuary. Assist with pension and retiree welfare plan valuations. Review valuation results and explain outcomes to clients. Review and assist with pension benefit calculations and participant benefit statements. Conduct pension accounting under USGAAP and IFRS guidelines. Review, analyze, and reconcile participant data. Reimbursement available for actuarial exams and related training. Must report to any Aon office at least twice per week. May telecommute from home up to 3 days per week. Annual salary: $106,246 - $157,600. Job Location: 200 E. Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601 Skills and experience that will lead to success Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field plus two years of retirement actuarial analysis experience. Must have at least two years of experience in each of the following: 1. Preparing pension budget figures; 2. Interpreting valuation results and providing initial actuarial recommendations to lead actuary; 3. Assisting with pension and retiree welfare plan valuations; 4. Reviewing valuation results and explaining outcomes to clients; 5. Conducting pension accounting under USGAAP and IFRS guidelines; and 6. Reviewing and assisting with pension benefit calculations and participant benefit statements.
