International Tax Manager

Tax Management
Provides consulting and information-sharing tax services for the organization and ensures that all appropriate tax regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Monitor U.S. and global international tax regulations and reporting obligations and assess the potential impact to private equity funds and its investorsManage the preparation, analysis, and calculation of Pillar 2 and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) data, ensuring accurate and timely submission in compliance with OECD guidelines and local regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information, analyze tax positions, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and tax planning efforts.Assist with cross border investment strategies, related to fund formation, holding, and exiting including structure design and due diligence to ensure tax efficiency of business transactionsCollaborate with business units and legal personnel as a subject matter expert on U.S. international taxPrepare tax communications to investors and answer tax related questions from both U.S. and non-U.S. investorsManage and review of U.S. international tax Forms 1042, 1118, 5471, 8865, 8858, 8621, 8804, 8805, etc. through collecting and verifying data, analyzing filing requirements and reporting, and review of related calculations prepared by third party tax advisorsManage and review of U.S. international related calculations and foreign provisions to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reporting deadlines • Maintain compliance tax reporting calendar for U.S. international and local jurisdictionsResearch technical partnerships and international tax matters and prepare memorandums to document conclusions and positions takenReview FIRPTA analysis particularly in timber and REIT fundsManage transfer pricing studies to leverage blockersAssess tax implications of check-the-box elections as it relates to local country treatment and ATAD hybridityEnsure proper federal and state tax is withheld on the non-U.S. investors’ U.S. sourced incomeManage quarterly tax distribution calculation process and ensure it follows the guidelines in the LLC agreement

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Base Pay Range: $101,300/yr. - $150,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
