International Technology Internship (Product Management)

TITLE: International Technology Intern

POSITION SUMMARY:

The International Technology Internship prepares you to be a technical leader in our fast-paced business environment. In this internship you will spend time exploring several functions within International Technology and learn how we use technology to grow and drive our business. If you have a passion for technology and innovation, with an International business savvy focus, this is the internship for you.

INTERNSHIP DETAILS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The internship will be 10 weeks from June 2025 through August 2025 Each intern will be considered seasonal/temporary in nature Each Intern will be assigned a Coach & Mentor to guide them through their experience Each Intern will be assigned a project which will be presented to AEO Management at the conclusion of the Internship Work closely with the International Customer and Associate Facing Technology Team to enhance and innovate industry leading features. Work with internal teams to gather system requirements and develop new features and functionality Analyze and resolve technical issues encountered during development and testing. Write clean, well-documented Java or Python code to implement new features and functionalities within existing applications. Perform hands-on root cause analysis of production issues faced by customers and associates.

TRAINING OVERVIEW:

Opportunities to learn about different areas of the business including ecommerce, point of sale, logistics, integration and data engineering technologies On-the-Job training with assignments guided by an individual Mentor Individual and group projects Roundtables with top level executives Bi Weekly self-evaluations to understand progress throughout program Opportunity for a full time offer into the AEO – IT organization after successful completion of the 10 week internship program

QUALIFICATIONS:

Students are eligible after they have completed their junior year at a 4 year college or university; First year Master’s students are also eligible Preferred majors include an Information Technology related degree – Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Networking, etc. Minimum 3.0 GPA required Strong organizational, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, specifically Excel

Pay/Benefits Information: 

Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
