International Trade Services Specialist Sr. - Letter of Credit

As an International Trade Services Specialist Sr. within PNC's International Trade Service Delivery Group, Treasury Management Division, you will be based at PNC's East Brunswick, New Jersey location. Your first 6 months will include training from East Brunswick and then flexible work afterwards. In this entry level role, you will review, and key information related to bank-issued documents that guarantee payments to a seller for goods or services. Your knowledge of Commercial Letter of Credit and detail orientation will be needed to identify discrepancies and properly route import and export information. You will carefully follow UCP 600, (Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits), ISBP (Int’l Standard Banking Practice), international trade rules as you review import and export agreements. You will accurately key information in the GTS (Global Trade System) and follow AML compliance rules associated with high-risk goods process with high-risk countries. Required: 1+ years of experience in international trade services and or work with commerical letters of credit. **Job Description** + Utilizes international trade-specific procedures, rules, guidelines and regulations. Utilizing advanced expertise to evaluates and execute complex transactions, or may provide onboarding assistance for trade products. Approve international trade services transactions and processes. May have specific responsibility for one or multiple specialized products or functional areas. + Processes and/or consults on complex trade transactions of varying risk and financial value in accordance with procedures, rules, guidelines and regulations. Identifies and addresses exceptions and escalated items. Interacts with internal and external stakeholders to complete transactions. Serves as a subject matter advisor on projects. May assist with training/coaching of new hires. + Administers trade compliance program against all trade transactions and escalates as necessary in order to mitigate bank risk. May work with International Sales, Risk Oversight and PNC Legal on regulatory compliance, legal matters and customer related documentation. + Consults with internal and external stakeholders on complex transactions. Provides responses and documentation to inquiries and ad hoc requests for all international trade products. Assist with the onboarding of new clients. + Performs secondary review of moderate to complex transactions and related documents. Verifies work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformance to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures. Reviews reports to process transactions or to monitor new customer onboarding.
