Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern.
The Hourly rate for this role is $25.00 per hour.

What you’ll do:
This position is for intern pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering who will complete a specified project centered around Aerospace Quality Management System (QMS) at the East Providence plant. This role is designed to give a student real experience in Aerospace Quality Control Division with ownership of a tangible project that will have significant impact to the site.
The work will require a basic working knowledge of engineering principles, problem-solving methods, and python programing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft (Word and Excel) and Adobe (Acrobat) products.
• Quick to learn new technologies and applications for creating documents.
• Ability to work at a proficient pace, be self-directed and maintain specific job assignments throughout entire shift.
• Create a presentation on work completed throughout the internship, and present to Site Leadership Team.
Basic Qualifications
• Actively enrolled in or received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering degree program at an accredited institution.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (please don't round).
• Relocation is not provided for this role, the candidate must be located within 50 miles of Rumford, RI.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• This position requires the use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
