JOB SUMMARY:
The intern will assist the VIP team in a leadership and project-based capacity. The intern will shadow management to learn about: the significance of Team Member satisfaction; how to provide a premium Guest experience; the importance of cross-departmental relationships; and the dynamic world of theme park operations. They will also have the opportunity to hone their time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills by assisting their mentor with projects and future department planning.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Completes an abridged VIP Guide, VIP Senior, and VIP Supervisor training to gain an understanding of the department and product.
+ Participates in shadows of park leadership positions, including VIP Experience Manager-On-Duty (MOD) and hourly team leaders.
+ Completes occasional supervised leadership duties, including during events such as Halloween Horror Nights and Holidays at Universal.
+ Assists mentor with departmental projects.
+ Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Senior or above.
+ Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
+ A transcript is required upon application.
+ Preferred majors include: Hospitality, Business Administration, or similar.

+ This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
+ Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.
Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
+ All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
