Overview

Join Highgate this summer for an exciting internship experience across Accounting and Finance division!

As an Finance Intern you will play a key role within the Treasury and Finance Optimization function. A 10 week rotational program where you'll dive into the financial backbone of our operations, gaining valuable hands-on experience with Cash Management, Financial Reporting, Audit Planning, Compliance Review, Risk Assessment, Data Analysis and Reporting.

This position is based out of our Corporate Offices, Irving, TX.

Responsibilities Work alongside the Finance team across Treasury and Finance Optimization in a rotational internship program.Provide support on treasury, cash management and reporting, data analysis and reviews.Gain an understanding of internal controls, audit processes and procedures and compliance reviews.Assist with various projects as needed.Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.

 

Qualifications Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Finance (in progress) or a similar degree.Minimum Junior status.Knowledge of accounting and/or finance principles.Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and reports) and PowerPoint skills.Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Must be organized with the ability to work accurately in a time efficient manner.Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.Ability to participate in a summer internship program of 10 weeks (June to August 2025).You must reside in Dallas, TX during the internship and work onsite.Salary - $20/hr for 40 hour week /10 weeks
