Overview

Join Highgate this summer for an exciting HR internship experience!

As a Human Resources Intern you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of both the Executive Office & Human Resources assisting with essential administrative tasks. Work closely with the Director of Human Resources on important responsibilities such as new hire onboarding and administration, employee relations, training and communications with both hotel departments and Highgate corporate offices. A fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience within HR Operations and contribute to our team!

 

Responsibilities Human resources (HR) intern provides valuable support in carrying out the day-to-day HR activities in the corporate office.Assist in administrative tasks in the HR department.Responsible for creating new hire files and audit employee files.Assist with corporate office event planning and execution.Support HH HR Inbox- HR policies and procedures.Prepare new hire gift bags and cubicles/office area.Input updates on the department’s internal HR systems and databases.

 

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology or Communications.Minimum Junior Status.Able to demonstrate professional work ethic.Good interpersonal and organizational skills.Proficient in Microsoft word and excel.   Ability to participate in a summer internship program of 10 weeks (June-August) 2025.You must reside in Dallas, TX during the internship and work onsite.
