Your role and responsibilities

We are currently searching an engineer for Advanced Process Control for the Process Automation Division – Energy Industry. Such unit provides design, configuration, test, commissioning and service of automation and electrical systems for the Oil & Gas, Refining, Chem, Power and Water Industry.The selected engineer be mainly accountable for:-\tDeveloping projects with Advanced Process Control and Real Time Optimization applications for Italian and international customers. The involvement in the Advanced Process Control applications will range from APC preliminary design to step testing, from process model identification to support to remote commissioning. Location: Genoa (GE), Italy. The work model for the role is: LI- Hybrid

Qualifications for the role

\tFreshly graduated or currently studying in engineering (automation, chemical, electrical, mechanical, or Energy) or in chemistry.\tKnowledge of physics, thermodynamics, chemistry and principles of automation & control\tBasic knowledge of main industrial processes (Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochem and Power generation)\tFamiliarity with MS operating systems and Office suite \tGood knowledge of English language (both written and spoken)\tTeam working and communication skills\tPast experience on Advance Process Control and Process optimization will be a plus\tBackground in Process Control (including modeling, simulation and control design) and knowledge on the standard communication protocol OPC DA/UA will be considered a plus.
