Qualifications and Requirements

Recently graduated or currently enrolled in an accredited graduate or undergraduate program in health, wellness or related field, junior or senior preferredCurrent CPR/AED certificationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detailKnowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPointAbility to multi-task and manage projects with aggressive timelinessHighly professional and able to work as a team memberReliable transportation

Responsibilities

Provide the necessary skills and knowledge to accurately and confidentially measure and document biometric screening results including: height/weight/BMI, blood pressure, waist circumference, and fingerstick blood collection using Cholestech equipmentConfidentially and knowledgably use coaching skills to counsel on screening results and lifestyle changeVerify and enter participant data by reviewing, correcting, and revising data for accuracy and completenessParticipate in quality control procedures as related to data and screening proceduresAssist with administrative duties including logistics planning, communication, and customer service callsParticipate in a health and wellness related project to enhance the internship experienceAdhere to HIPAA guidelines and policies for participant confidentialityComplete an independent project to complete the learning experience
