Baird’s Equity Asset Management Growth team currently manages over $4 billion in two long-only, institutional strategies: Mid cap growth and Small/Mid cap growth. The team’s three portfolio managers and five research analysts focus on investing in high-quality, profitable growth companies over a long-term investment time horizon. Internship Location, Availability and Hours:
Located in our downtown Milwaukee, WI office, the intern must be able to work onsite full-time, 37.5-40 hours per week, during the summer. We are seeking a student who can start in May 2025.
As an Equity Asset Management Intern, you will:
Shadow and participate in various research projects as directed by both analysts and portfolio managersResearch specific stocks and industries based on current portfolio needsUse FactSet data and information to supplement or create company and portfolio analysisPresent investment findings to the investment team and discuss the thesis on an idea, potentially completing a full write-up of a stock pitch utilizing the team’s PRIME processPrepare and potentially participate in company and analyst meetings and conference callsBring energy to the team and actively contribute to our culture of continuous improvement
