WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We are looking for a dedicated intern to assist us in analyzing battery data and help enhance our analytical tools for lab automation purposes.

First of all you will collaborate with our scientists and lab technicians (in-person in the laboratories) to define requirements and optimization potentials.You will develop and refine Python scripts for analyzing battery data as well as implement automated documentation for the developed scripts and results.Moreover, you analyze and interpret measurement data to identify trends and patterns.You will implement statistical and machine-learning methods to improve data quality and assist in creating presentations as well as reports to present findings.In addition, you will write automated unit and integration tests to test different analytical methods.WHAT YOU OFFER ongoing studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related fieldstrong knowledge of Python particularly in data analysis (e.g., with Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)good programming knowledge with writing unit and integration tests using pytestfamiliarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker with CI/CD automation is a plusindependent and structured work approach, as well as teamwork skillsgood command of both German and English, spoken and writtenWHAT WE OFFER Practical phase - actively apply theory in challenging and varied tasks/projects Teambuddy - contact person for all questions and regular feedbackNetworks - get to know different perspectives, ways of thinking and fields of workInternship compensation - a recognition of the commitment, more information here: http://on.basf.com/compensationBASFSEFlexible working hours - depending on the location and area of workHOW TO REACH US
